Don't let anyone tell you Texas is a lost cause for Democrats.

Our state is at a tipping point, and the myth that it's an unshakeable Republican stronghold is crumbling fast. Data shows that Texas—America's fastest-growing state—is rapidly moving toward a statewide Democratic victory—and it's happening quicker than you think.

For three decades, Republican leadership has failed Texans, alienating vast swaths of voters. But Texans are fed up and hungry for change—a fact that becomes clearer every election cycle.

With 40 Electoral Votes on the line, turning Texas blue could be the most seismic shift in American politics since Reagan flipped Texas in 1980. The time for change is now, and Texas Blueprint is our roadmap to making it happen.

Evaluating the Electoral Landscape

Contrary to conventional wisdom, Texas isn't Republican territory—it's battleground territory, and the landscape is shifting decisively in our favor. Over the past decade, Texas has moved toward Democrats faster than any other battleground state, mirroring the trends we've seen in states like Arizona and Georgia that flipped blue in 2020. If we continue on this trajectory, especially with national support, a Democratic Texas isn't just a possibility—it's an inevitability

In terms of marginal two-way vote share, Texas has trended Democratic more rapidly than any other battleground state.

The Electorate

  • A Democratic Surge: Texas voters have shifted the state's political landscape faster than any other, setting the foundation for future Democratic victories.

  • An Expanding Base: Factors like domestic migration, immigration, and voter registration are making Texas increasingly Democratic.

  • Comparable Battlegrounds: When you stack Texas against confirmed battleground states like Georgia and Florida, it's clear: Texas is in play.

  • Young and Diverse: Texas boasts the youngest and one of the most racially diverse electorates among battleground states. This youth and diversity are Democratic strong suits.

  • Investment Pays Off: Our voter registration efforts have already shown promise, and more investment will only hasten Texas' shift to blue.

Demographics: Our Strengths

  • Urban Powerhouse: With over 83% of Texans living in urban areas, Democrats have a structural advantage.

  • Diversity is Our Strength: Texas is majority non-white and home to the second-largest Hispanic/Latino population in the U.S.—a demographic that leans Democratic.

  • Young Voters: Texas is not only the youngest battleground state but also ages more slowly compared to others. Young voters are more likely to align with Democrats, offering a durable path to sustained victories.

We've made more progress in Texas than any other state of similar electoral significance. Texas is ripe for change, and the Texas Blueprint is our strategy to seize the moment.

Turning Texas Blue is All About Turnout

Why haven't Democrats won Texas yet, despite a Democratic-majority electorate? The answer is straightforward: turnout. But don't mistake this challenge for a setback; it's an opportunity. Running turnout programs in Texas is more cost-effective for Democrats than Republicans, and we've already closed the electoral gap faster than any other battleground state. The bottom line? Boosting turnout is our ticket to victory.

Our data shows that with just a 15% increase in turnout among non-voting Democrats—or about 1 in 7—we can tip the scales and win statewide. To put it in real numbers, Biden won 5.3 million votes in 2020; adding 630K focused turnout targets and 610K new Democratic registrants to that base could secure us the win.

In short, a modest boost in Democratic turnout could make all the difference in turning Texas blue.
